I am concerned with modes of perception, personal faith, the means to an end, why people jump to conclusions, why so many people believe their viewpoint is correct, the order of things. All these can be modes for the search for truth, albeit fleeting.
The correlation between technology, science and religion is a favorite topic. Here any one of these subjects is sure to derive scrutiny for many reasons, mainly because a person(s) does not know enough or cares to be educated on what attracts another person to have faith. Science has been known to create things like atomic bombs, as well as healing medications. The same can be said for religion, which was used as a powerful device to drive wars, even though it is encouraged for its healing ability. Even though science and religion have [moral] conflicts, they operate in the same manner, and rely on things invisible to lead them in the right direction. Neither one can be said to be completely good or bad, only if they are viewed as the means to an end.
